About
An independent Fantasy Premier League analytics and decision-support tool
Ace Analyst brings player comparison, fixture difficulty, historical opponent matchups and squad planning into one place, so an FPL decision gets made in one sitting instead of several browser tabs.
What Ace Analyst does
Everything needed to decide the next move, in one place
Ace Analyst is built for the moment an FPL manager is stuck between two players, or trying to work out whether a fixture run is actually worth a transfer.
- Player comparison, in single-season and multi-season modes, up to seven seasons (2019/20–2025/26) where the data supports it
- Fixture difficulty for every Premier League team, using the official FPL FDR rating
- Historical player-vs-opponent matchup analysis — appearances, minutes, points and per-90 rates against a chosen opponent or set of opponents
- A My Team overview of your actual squad, plus a separate hypothetical transfer-planning draft
- Multi-season player and team context in the Player Explorer and Dashboard
Who it's for
Managers who already research their transfers
Ace Analyst is built for FPL managers who want the reasoning visible, not a verdict handed to them.
- FPL managers who already research transfers and currently open several sites to settle one decision
- Anyone who wants more than a gut feeling behind a transfer or captain pick — no analytics background required
- Managers who want to see the evidence and make the final call themselves, not be handed a pick
Current status
Free public beta, independent, no account required
- Free during the public beta, with no account and no checkout
- Runs in the browser at play.aceanalyst.app — nothing to install, built for desktop and mobile
- Uses only your public FPL team ID; Ace Analyst never asks for your FPL password
- Independent, and not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the Premier League or Fantasy Premier League
Not a prediction tool
Ace Analyst shows what has happened — total output, per-90 rates, fixture context and historical matchup performance — normalized and laid out so the trade-offs are visible. It does not forecast future points or guarantee outcomes; the decision stays with the manager reading it.
The thinking behind it
Built by an analyst, for the decision at hand

Ace Analyst is built by José Coelho, a Business Intelligence and analytics professional based in Portugal. The full story of why it exists — and what "show the working" means in practice — is on the homepage. For how the metrics themselves are put together, see Methodology, and for where the data itself comes from, see Data.
